Donating to the Conference Auction is a great way to support the mission of IACCA!
IACCA has long known the importance of support and specialized training. Through membership networking, attendance at the Annual Conference and participation in the Certification Program, we have recognized the need to dialogue about the unique nature of nonprofit conference center management. For 60 plus years, countless professionals in our industry have benefited from these interactions, hundreds have been certified as conference center professionals, and over $22,000 has been granted in scholarships.
The proceeds from this year’s auction sales will be used to support the Kay Olson Scholarship Fund. This scholarship pays one half of tuition for classes and one half of program fee for the conference for those who can not afford it. Application for this sponsorship will be advertised in the registration form.
Consider contributing an item to the silent or live auction. Items may be donated by you, your employer or both. If you have something to give please bring the item(s) to the Conference. A donation receipt will be issued once the auction committee receives your item.
What sort of things can you donate?
Well, everything and anything: Here are some items on our wish list: books, weird and wonderful handmade items, unique jewelry, art, assorted baskets, textiles, prints, etc. etc.
For more information about what items to bring, please contact Betty deBastiani.
