Presides at meetings in the absence of the President and carries out other presidential duties as required.
Manages the Annual Conference, including the planning, promotion, delivery and evaluation. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Recruits and supervises the Program Committee.
2. Oversees all arrangements with IACCA host center.
3. Arranges for speakers, seminar leader, resource people, entertainment, etc.
4. Establishes and oversees the registration process.
5. Collaborates with Executive Director to generate a budget, document revenue, pay expenses and prepare an accurate accounting of all transactions.
6. Provides the Board with progress reports and a final conference recap.
Performs other duties as assigned by the President.
Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
Available to travel to attend two Board meetings annually (fall meeting at Annual Conference and spring meeting location TBD) and to participate in monthly Board conference calls (non-conference travel paid by IACCA).
Able to spend an average of 4-6 hours/month on IACCA business.
International Association of Conference Center Administrators
The Vice President Elect prepares to assume the responsibilities of the Vice President.
Serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Understudies the Vice President in all aspects of the planning, promotion, delivery and evaluation of the Annual Conference.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President.
Assumes the Vice Presidency if the sitting Vice President is unable to serve.
Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
Available to travel to attend two Board of Directors meetings annually (fall meeting at Annual Conference and spring meeting location TBD) and to participate in monthly Board conference calls (non-conference travel paid by IACCA).
